N.O.R.E x DJ Permier Remaking Dwyck? Video
Man, Hip Hop is going in this year. N.O.R.E stops at XXL for an interview on UStream and drops the bomb. Him and DJ Permier are set to remake Gang Starr and Nice & Smooth’s classic “Dwyck”. Apparently, they are going to bring Nice & Smooth back on the project but ask the fans for who they would like on the remake. The remake will appear on N.O.R.E‘s next solo album Superthug. I smell another hip hop classic if no wack rappers are on it.
For the 2011 version, Nore said that he had yet to select the guests to appear on the record, but he wanted input.
“I have not chosen who to reach out to. I would like y’all ideas, who should I put on?” He continued, “Let’s get the new era MCs, let’s give them a chance to pay respect, to pay homage.”
As for the sound of the record, Nore simply stated, “It’s gonna be that beat, redone.”-XXL
