Valiant Comics is Relaunched with new Chairman
Valiant comics is preparing for their return with former Marvel CEO and Vice Chairman Peter Cuneo at the head of the table as Chairman. Cuneo joined Marvel in 2009 when they first filed for bankruptcy, but helped turn the company around until Marvel’s sale to Disney in 2009. Valiant was founded in 1989 and was sold to video game company Acclaim Entertainment in 1994. Acclaim eventually went out of business and Valiant Entertainment acquired the rights to their character library in 2007.
