Video: T.Shirt -For The Record (Dir. by Derek Pike)
Been heard the name T. Shirt a month or so back but just now just got a chance to hear the dudes music. While I can’t say he’s the most lyrical of the bunch, I’m going to go out on a limb and say that T.Shirt could easily be part of a band of cats that are popularizing the nostalgic raps of 90′s NY once again, including emcees like Action Bronson and Mr. MFN eXquire. He has an unorthodox style but his blunt bars and vintage sound are something to keep an eye on. Check out the Derek Pike directed, “For The record,” visuals.
