Music News: Machine Gun Kelly Signs W/ Bad Boy Records/Interscope
Although it’s been speculated about for some time, the announcement was officially made today that Machine Gun Kelly has signed with Bad Boy Records which is under the Jimmy Iovine empire (Interscope). Talk of the Cleveland rapper signing with Bad BOy first began when Diddy approached him with a bottle of champaign after his set at The Fader Fort as pat of this year’s SXSW festival.
The above click shows MGK’s progression from an hungry young rapper to an act with the potential for mainstream success. Congrats are are in order for that man cause he’s been grinding and building a strong fan base for a while. He told me yesterday that we should expect his debut album sometime during first quarter 2012.
