“If Trinidad Jame$ getting dropped by Def Jam Records was music to your ears (or if you just a fan of skilled microphone technicians), then you’ll probably want to indulge in the authentic New York rap stylings of MC/producer Jemyle Jones.

Hailing from the galaxy of Queens, Jemyle Jones is a tactful wordsmith who sports a cadence that elevates him from just being great at lyrical exercises like many-a-New York spitter. For his latest workout on wax, the promising newcomer decided to flip Grand Puba‘s “I Like It “(I Wanna Be Where You Are)” and lace it with his brand of fluid and charismatic rhyming. High scores on the bar exam include the line “The invincible master / Passed the class, beat Miyagi / When they put my wax on, I get cashe like DiBiase.”

Check out Jemyle’s self-directed New York-centric visual below and download “N’ Ya Say NYC” to restore that golden era aura in your eardrums. For more of Jemyle’s book of rhymes, hit up his Soundcloud page.”
