“[It's gonna be an] album, man,” Cole continued. “We actually worked, bouncing ideas, which was great. The vibe was so good that it’s that’s absolutely gonna happen.”
“I’m not on Twitter no more, I’m not doing it and I’m not going to,” Cole said. “I’m sitting and on watching all these artists who I respect — some of them are big artists — on Twitter fighting for attention. Every tweet is like, I’m looking for attention. Retweet me! It comes from this place of fear, like I don’t want people to forget about me. The king of pop(no typo) Jay Z is getting his own music festival in Philly. We all know that this is just one of the many great things that Jay will accomplish in his lifetime. The race to a billion is neck and neck when it comes to the great african american moguls such as Jay, Puff, Dre, and the rest of them.
The event is called the Budweiser Made in America music festival and will take place on September 1st and 2nd. Jay plans to do this every year going forward. Tickets go on sale on May 23rd at Livenation and Ticketmaster.
UPDATE: Jay confirmed the news during a press conference in Philly, adding that about 70% of the artists are already confirmed.
