Hip Hop Karaoke At The SkyBox Lounge

Hip Hop Karaoke NJ allows everyday hip hop heads a chance to live out a dream of rockin the mic on stage to classic joints. The word ‘Karaoke’ can be misleading so let me break it down for you..
A) this is not sing or rap-along to Vanilla Ice/Sir-mix-Alot/Hammer. Think more along the lines of Tribe/Leaders/Big Daddy Kane/Naughty ( our song list has over 350 joints )
B) Lyric sheets are optional (def. NO monitors with scrolling lyrics). This is an event for true hip hop heads that can and probably do drop the vocals to these classic joints in their car, in front of their dresser or maybe even at grandma’s house…which leads to my next point
C) we just set the stage for a hip hop show. i.e. have a DJ on stage, provide a hype man to help with lyrics/chorus and to hype, and leave the main mic open for the fan that wants to live out that dream to give a show. YES, we even encourage them to dress up as their fav emcee from back in the day..shell toes, kangols, puma sweats, gold chains the whole 9…
