MTV caught up with a few of the people who trekked down to the shop to purchase the album, see the custom Maybach from the “Otis” video and get a chance to see Jay-Z himself in person. Boston underground rap veteran and big screen actor [see The Town] Slaine offers up a new raw project with Statik Selektah called State Of Grace. The tape features fellow melanin deficient emcees Action Bronson and Ill Bill on the cut “Offensive Lines” along with Gucci Mane, Lil JOn and Project Pat (I was just blasting “Chickenhead” in the office the other day, that shit’s timeless). Slaine is currently preeping his next official LP A World With No Skies 2.0 as well as acting in an upcoming film along side Brad Pitt.
