Pill went on a 140 character rant yesterday when he took to Twitter to address his frustrations with MMG’s parent label Warner Bros. and express his bewilderment as to where the rumors of him being dropped from Rick Ross’ imprint came about. The ATL emcee goes as far as to compare his standing in 2009 to that of Nicki Minaj and Drake at the time and expresses that he feels his label has significantly impeded his rising star. Pill also spoke to The Boombox about the rumors that he’s being dropped by MMG and had the following to say on the matter:

“I’m not sure how they started actually [rumors of his departure] I noticed it when people started f—ing with me on Twitter, but I don’t know the source of it. I mean, it is what it is. It’s mostly Twitter — people that follow me or don’t follow me that hate on me daily, and wanna start s—.”

During his set at NYC’s Highline Ballroom this past Tuesday, Action Bronson brought Maffew Ragazino out to the stage to perform their collaborative joint “Jerk Chicken” off Bronson’s Dr. Lecter LP. The track was one of several highlights in a show that also included performances from Mr. Muthafuckin’ eXquire and Warner Bros. signee Dyme-A-Duzin. Definitely a great night for New York hi-hop to say the least.

The World Trade Center is pretty much almost ready for people to start occupying the buildings. Many floors are ready in the newly constructed buildings including Freedom Tower. The question is, would you still work there once it’s all ready. It’s a pretty creepy feeling, after what happened on September 11th of that crazy year.

4 World Trade Center

Steel erection is progress on the 57th floor. Concrete core walls are complete up to the 50th Floor, with concrete on metal deck complete to the 53rd floor. Curtain wall installation complete to 38th floor (except hoist areas and tower crane 3 areas, which are complete to 32nd floor).

3 World Trade Center

Concrete core and concrete slab work continue to progress on schedule. Concrete in the west core walls has been placed up to level 3, and the majority of the B1 level concrete slab has been poured. Jumping operations for the east tower crane are expected to occur within the next month.

2 Work Trade Center

The major below grade concrete superstructure elements are nearing completion, with the erection of the ground floor deck in progress. Installation of the PDC’s (Power Distribution Centers) has begun and will continue into the early part 1Q 2012.

1 World Trade Center

Structural Steel erection is currently at the 90th floor. Floor slabs have been cast through the 80th floor and core shear walls are up to the 79th floor. Curtain wall installation is complete up to the 63rd floor.

9/11 Memorial Museum

Electrical, Mechanical, Fire Protection, and IT work continues in the Pavilion and underground museum. The carpentry contractor is installing sheetrock at the west side of the 2nd floor of the Pavilion, and has also begun to frame out the interior ceiling.

Comedian Bill Maher drew the ire of Tim Tebow fans and Christians over the weekend after a profane tweet reveling in the Broncos’ blowout loss to the Buffalo Bills.

“Wow, Jesus just f***ed #TimTebow bad! And on Xmas Eve! Somewhere … Satan is tebowing, saying to Hitler “Hey, Buffalo’s killing them,” Maher tweeted.

Tebow, whose team suffered its second straight loss after a six-game winning streak, did not respond to Maher’s tweet.

After the disappointing 40-14 road loss, Tebow tweeted, “Tough game today but what’s most important is being able to celebrate the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ. Merry Christmas everyone GB2.”
