The Duffle Bag Boy took it upon himself to keep it Tru and retweeted Tyler’s comment adding, “She should put you on it.so you can rid ur BIKE n da vid.” If this turns into an actual rap beef you better believe hilarity will ensue.

Following news that it reached 27 million registered users last month, photo-sharing app Instagram announced Tuesday (April 3) the launch of their app for Android-based devices.

“We’ve already seen more than 30 million people join Instagram to create and share beautiful photos on their iOS devices, and now we’re thrilled to offer a way for Android users to join their iOS friends on Instagram to share their photos with the world,” the company said in a blog posting.

According to the announcement on its website, the company worked to make the newly launched “Instagram for Android” app the best possible experience.

They call it the “big step forward for the [Instagram community] as a whole”.

When initially launching the app, the creators said that “tried to imagine what the world would be like if every single person on earth could share the world around them through the lens on their phones”.

Now, with Android being included — it was previously available only to iOS users — they are closer to making their vision a reality.

LEXINGTON, Ky. – Riots, fights, and at least one shooting kept Lexington police busy overnight after the University of Kentucky men’s basketball team beat Kansas.

Lexington police spokeswoman Sherelle Roberts said while most fans engaged in law-abiding celebrations, about 40 percent of fans got out of control.

At least three dozen people have been arrested, many for destructive behavior and public intoxication. Injuries have been reported and range in severity from people being cut by broken glass to at least one person being shot.

Right now, the shooting remains under investigation with Lexington police.

Lawsuits and sampling music goes hand in hand, just ask Kanye West.

According to Rolling Stone, the hip-hop superstar was recently hit with a lawsuit from singer Robert Poindexter, of the soul band the Persuaders, who claims that West used an uncleared sample of the 1972 hit “Trying Girls Out” on the remix of “Girls Girls Girls”, which appeared on his 2006 mixtape, Freshman Adjustment 2.

Poindexter claims that he tried to contact West, in an attempt to settle the matter out of court, but he refused to discuss it.

“I have offered to resolve this matter out of court with Kanye West,” Poindexter said. “But in response, he has refused to even discuss any ‘out-of-court’ resolutions whatsoever. Nor has he provided any evidence that he is demanding others to cease and desist from selling the illegal version.”

The mixtape was released as a free download, and was not commercially distributed, so it’s unclear if the lawsuit holds any merit.

Poindexter argues that West “willfully infringed the copyright for private and financial gain by selling and distributing an untold amount of physical and digital copies of the illegal version (mixed tapes/street albums) to the general public on internet downloads and through the mail.”

West recently settled a lawsuit for an unauthorized sample of soul singer Syl Johnson’s “Difference Strokes” for his 2010 My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy record, “The Joy.”

Details about the settlement were unknown.
