Nike has teamed up once again with the no. 1 27 ranked golfer in the world a new stylish pair of kicks for the green. Nike and Tiger have taken the champion golfer’s disposition and fused into the shoe’s make-up stating that it “reflects the aim of a true champion to regain his crown at the top of his sport.” The prototype for these new Tiger kicks was developed by the Innovation Kitchen at Nike head quarters. This product is being said to employ “sensibilities and performance enhancements of Nike’s Free technology with Nike technology such as Flywire and Hyperfuse upper” which improves the design upon previous shoes in it’s field.
These aren’t likely to be suitable for rocking on the block but if I ever get into golfing on the regular these look like a pretty fresh pair to have. You can read more about the Nike X Tiger Woods Free Golf Shoe prototype via Hypebeast.

In the midst scoring 21 points in a victory over Kevin Durant’s Team Nike squad at New York City’s Dyckman Park, Minnesota T’Wolves forward forgot his “Woosah” and mushed a heckling fan in the face after he could no longer deal with the slander being thrown at his neck. Nobody was harmed but play did come to a halt for about 10 minutes according to eyewitnesses. The palm-tasting fan stayed to watch the remainder of the game with security at arms length.
As of press time no charges have been filed.

Former NBA superstar and current commentator Earvin “Magic” Johnson admitted during an interview that one of his biggest regrets is retiring from the league soon after discovering that he had been diagnosed with HIV.
“If I knew what I know now, I wouldn’t have retired. I had just played with these guys at the Olympics. Then I get back home and said I’m coming back to the NBA and the same guys that I went to war with in the Olympics came out and said ‘No, I think I’m going to get HIV.’”
Watch the clip above to see how he handled the news and what prompted him to make the decision to retire from the dominant L.A. Lakers. He also talks about other players being afraid to play on the same court as him due to his illness.

This is documentary which takes viewers through Lebron James’ career thus far. The film takes us form Lebron being anointed as “The Chosen One” to present day where he is viewed as the most hated player in the league by the general public. It’s a great watch whether you’re a loyal King James follower or someone who enjoys throwing rocks at the current Riley regime.

NEW YORK — Forget about Braylon Edwards. Forget about Randy Moss. The New York Jets stayed local, signing former Giants Super Bowl star Plaxico Burress to a one-year contract.
Burress’ deal is worth $3.017 million, fully guaranteed, league sources told ESPN Insider Adam Schefter.
The Jets, who showed interest two years ago before Burress served a 20-month prison sentence on gun charges, stepped up their pursuit Friday, the same day Burress visited the Giants to discuss the possibility of playing there.
On Saturday, Burress visited the Pittsburgh Steelers, his first team, where he told former teammates that the Jets wanted him badly. He also reportedly met with the 49ers.
Burress will team with another former Steeler, Santonio Holmes, in what should be one of the most compelling receiving tandems in the league.
The Jets re-signed Holmes to a five-year, $50 million contract and decided to move on from Edwards, who refused to lower his asking price.

The New England Patriots have acquired wide receiver Chad Ochocinco after he accepted a restructured three-year contract from the Patriots, a source told ESPN.com’s John Clayton.
Sources told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter that the Bengals will receive two draft picks, one this year and one next season.
Ochocinco was scheduled to make $6.35 million for the Bengals this year. The Patriots wanted him to restructure his contract to fit their cap.The 10-year veteran caught 67 passes for 831 yards and four touchdowns last season. That was a drop-off from 2009, the last of his six Pro Bowl years, when Ochocinco had 72 receptions for 1,047 yards and nine TDs.
He has seven 1,000-yard receiving seasons, leading the league with 1,369 in 2006.
Ochocinco provides another option for Tom Brady, who has been without a deep target since the Patriots traded Randy Moss to the Minnesota Vikings last season. In 10 seasons, all with the Bengals, Ochocinco has 751 catches for 10,783 yards and 66 touchdowns.
Despite Brady throwing for 3,900 yards and 36 touchdowns in 2010, the Pats didn’t have a 1,000-yard receiver. Wes Welker led the team with 848 yards.
