The NFL and a major television network are apologizing for another Super Bowl halftime show.

There was no wardrobe malfunction, nothing like that glimpse of Janet Jackson’s nipple eight years ago that caused an uproar and government scrutiny. Instead, it was an extended middle finger from British singer M.I.A. during Sunday night’s performance of Madonna’s new single, “Give Me All Your Luvin.’”

In front of some 110 million viewers on NBC and uncounted others online, she flipped the bird and appeared to sing, “I don’t give a (expletive)” at one point, though it was hard to hear her clearly.

The NFL and NBC wasted little time in responding.

“The obscene gesture in the performance was completely inappropriate, very disappointing and we apologize to our fans,” said Brian McCarthy, spokesman for the NFL, which produced Madonna’s halftime show.

The risque moment came during the biggest TV event of the year. The screen briefly went blurred after M.I.A.’s gesture in what was a late attempt — by less than a second — to cut out the camera shot.

We thought it was over after 2 Chainz left the stage. Raekwon hopped on stage and called 2 Chainz back. Then spoke about the times where 2Chainz and Raekwon spent in Atlanta. He then tells the sold out SOBs crowd “you good in my town”. Wu-Tang co-signs 2 Chainz? That’s big! #pause

Tity Two Necklace touched down in NYC at a sold out SOBs concert and killed the stage! Here is a video of him performing “Spend It” and “Turn Up”. Other acts for the night included Troy Ave, and Marcus Manchild. The event was hosted by Power 105 and Rap Radar.

Good song covers are like rare gems online, alot of people try them but few can pull ‘em off exceptionally well. The last dope cover we’ve seen was Jordan Ware’s “Ass On The Floor” violin cover and this drum rendition of Mac Miller’s “Smile Back” by Steve Jr. belongs right up there with it. On top of playing a mean drum, this kid has tricks on deck which make this video not only sonically but visually dope. Peep Steve Jr. getting his Vince Carter on at the 1:23 mark.

During a recent performance in Santa Ana, California, Yelawolf was seemingly ambushed by an unruly fan who managed to rush the stage. After knocking down Catfish Billy, the fan was dragged off by security but not before the Shady Records rapper caught threw a quick two piece and a biscuit. Yela don’t play that shit.

Cassidy hopped on stage to perform at this year’s Philly Hip-Hop Awards and kicked a freestyle along with a few of joints from his catalog.

While performing in Miami yesterday, Harlem’s rising star A$AP Rocky performed a brand new track for a live audience at Grand Central. The audio ain’t all that but you can still get an idea of what Rocky’s new joint sounds like.

This past Tuesday night, Brooklyn’s Mr. Muthafuckin’ eXquire hit the stage to perform joints new and old for a few hundred fans in the building. Among the new cuts was “Mau Mau” from eXquire’s newly released Merry eXmas And Suck My D**k mixtape. The track features fellow BK-native Maffew Ragazino, who hit the stage to perform a mean verse in true New York rhyming fashion.
