“When Salaam played me the beat for it, I said, ‘That’s the single — do this and do that and we’re golden.’ So he started flipping it around. When we heard that Heavy D died, of course we were messed up, and Salaam called me and told me, ‘You know your record “The Don”? You know who gave me that, right?’ He’s like, ‘Heavy D gave me that. He liked what we did with the other single, “Nasty,” and he sent me this record.’ And the rest is history. So rest in peace, Heavy D.”
Tinashe releases her anticipated tape entitled In Case We Die. I don’t wanna die tho T. Check it out after the jump and peep the video for the Chainless track.
Tinashe, 19, began her forte into the entertainment industry through acting in movies and television alongside Whoopi Goldberg, Charlie Sheen and Tom Hanks, dancing professionally, and baby modeling before joining the all girl-group the Stunners.
After four years of performing as the lead singer of the bubblegum/dance-pop group, including releasing a 5-song EP, a single featuring the New Boyz, 4 music videos and performing nationwide on pop icon Justin Bieber’s sold-out My World Tour in 2010, the group parted ways in 2011 and Tinashe began to forge her own musical journey, writing and recording as a solo artist.
Dudes were throwing beer at the A$ap mob while they stood on the stage. So as anybody else would do(hopefully), they got pissed off, and jumped in the crowd to begin some brawling activities. Check it out.
