We just came across this kid, and he’s pretty fire! BABY E is a genre buster out of Pensacola, Florida that is making headway in the music scene. His debut buzz record, “One More Time”, was produced by hitmakers Dr. Luke, Benny Blanco & Cirkut. And we hear that Dr. Luke recently signed him to a major publishing deal. Word on the street is that there’s a bidding war for the record deal portion, but he’s leaning towards signing to Island Def Jam. Check back for more updates on BABY E. This kid is gonna go.
Super-producer Just Blaze sat down with Hard Knock TV to discuss working with stars like Drake and Rick Ross in recent years as well as his musical influences. Just also talks about signing rapper XV and gives details on Jay Electornica’s debut album, Act II, to which he also contributed. Producer extraordinaire Just Blaze sat down with Hard Knock TV’s Nick Huff Barili for an in-depth interview. Just Blaze starts off by talking about Hip Hop incorporating more EDM sounds and how he was ahead of the curb incorporating dance elements into Hip Hop tracks like Joe Budden’s “Fire” back in 2004. As the interview continues Justin talks about signing XV and how he thinks XV has the potential to be one of the next ones. He also states that he has 5 records with him for Kid With The Green Backpack album. Before we let him go we had to ask Just about his relationship with Jay Electronica after making classics like Exhibit A and Exhibit C. He says that since Jay moved out to London they haven’t had a chance to work together but that they talk and are friends. Just says that he has heard the album, but doesn’t know if Jay will call it Act 2 or Act 3 but hopes that they will have time to work on it before Jay has to turn it in. Just ends the interview by saying that he is working on tracks for Drake, Rick Ross and one of the biggest pop stars in the world among others. Can you guess who it might be???
Side note: This interview took place at 4am in hotel lobby. Just Blaze had a flight in the early morning, was just getting back from gig and was recovering from being sick the previous four days yet he still took time to make sure this interview happened. Our gratitude and deepest RESPECT!!!

Queens emcee T.Shirt drops off an entertaining new music video for “Success To Me” from his latest project, The F*ck. In the Hot Mop Films-directed visual, Shirt enlists the “Godfather Of Streetwear” aka Jeff Staple to deliver some of his rhymes and rides out on the Williamsburg Bridge in a Land Rover with no doors in a truly gully fashion. Anybody that knows me, knows that I don’t endorse most of the weak music videos in today’s rap game but this sh*t right here gets the cosign.
Kirko Bangz has been making a name for himself this year with his charting single, “Drank In My Cup,” which recently got a remix featuring 2 Chainz and Juelz Santana. The buzzing Houston rapper stopped by MTV RapFix for a conversation with Sway and delivered a quick freestyle as an added bonus. You can check out Kirko’s bars in the above clip.

A$AP Rocky lets go of his lead single’s music video, making a withdrawal from his $3 million record deal money to pull out all the stops on set in Paris. Rocky and his ace boon ASAP Yams give the visuals for the Hit-Boy-produced single, “Goldie,” the Midas touch and paint the town gold. Rocky’s debut LP, LiveLoveA$AP, looks to have you do anything but Comme de f*ck down when it arrives this summer.
Maybach Music puts a cap on all the attention their press conference got today by unveiling the visuals to the first single off of Self Made Vol. 2, “Bag Of Money” featuring T-Pain. With the release of the group’s sophomore compilation (June 26th) as well as Rozay’s God Forgives, I Don’t (July 31st), and Meek Mill’s debut Dreams & Nightmares (August 28th) the summer is looking like a bag of dead presidents for the MMG camp.
