Let’s be clear *Funk Flex voice,* the Tobey Maguire spidey saga that began a decade ago has been put to rest and the upcoming flick about everyone’s favorite webslinging hero is a reboot of the Marvel comics story. The Amazing Spider-Man casts Andrew Garfield (The Social Network,The Imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus) in the central role of Peter Parker/Spider-Man. This version of Spider-Man’s tale however focuses on “Gwen Stacy” (Emma Stone) as the love interest and not the Mary Jane Watson” that movie goers have gotten used to. This darker, more noirish take on the comic hero will also feature Rhys Ifan (most likely playing the movie’s rumored villain, “The Lizard”), Martin Sheen and Denis Leary. The film hits theaters on July 3rd, 2010 in both 3D and IMAX.

Check out the trailer for “Prey For Me” by Secret Society Motion Pictures director Nimi Hendrix. This is an action flick starring Secret Society model Kim Carpenter. Hendrix has directed tons of hit music videos, and is about to change the game with his motion pictures. This film drops in the fall of 2011!

Another Transformers summer blockbuster fast approaches. In Transformers 3: Dark of the Moon the usual suspects sans Megan Fox return in a fight to save the human race from impending doom at the hands of the Decepticons. Optimus and the autobots of course defend planet Earth in what looks to be an epic, action packed battle. Oh, and the new leading lady, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, who replaces Fox in the series ensures no loss of eye candy.
