Meek Mill liberates a new track titled “Burn” featuring Big Sean to make this a better Friday than it already is. The song will appear on Meek Mill’s Dreamchasers 2 mixtape which drops on May 7th as well as Big Sean’s upcoming mixtape.

Big Sean was out in L.A. to headline the Monster Energy Outbreak Tour XXL Freshmen Live concert series and stopped for a quick chat with EliTasteTV where he discussed working on Mike Posner’s upcoming Diplo-produced single, “Top Of The World.” Sean explains how they came up with the song, its theme and why he relates to it.

If you haven’t heard of buzzing 16-year-old Chi-Town rapper Chief Keef, his name should be pretty prominent as soon as the G.O.O.D. Music remix of his super ignant jam “I Don’t Like” featuring Jadakiss hits the Internets. The simple and clean black and red artwork for the remix was recently unveiled, so as surprised as you may be at by this collab, it is in fact real.
With Keef’s tunes bumpin’ in every other Chicago teen’s ipods it was only a matter time before Mr. West and the like took notice. According to Keef, Birdman is also familiar with the thuggish young spitta’s ratchet catalog and wants to sign him to Cash Money. At this point I’m not at all a fan of the kid but obviously he’s got a “Lil B goes trap” factor to him that gets some [ignorant-loving] people going so look for his star to keep rising as the masses get familiar. As for the “I Don’t Like” remix, it should arrive any day now.
Singer/Songwriter Kevin McCall lets go of his seductive single “Naked” with a guest verse from G.O.O.D. Music’s Big Sean. The single will live on McCall’s debut album which will be released via Chris Brown’s label CBE. Nothing too appealing about this the sub-par vocals and elementary rhymes McCall spits on here. Breezy might want to label his signee’s joint a “street single” and take things back to the drawing board. Press play for Big Sean’s verse and probably not much else.
TUGE comes through with another weekly installment of tough rhymes and adds weight to the already heavy G.O.O.D. Music single, “Mercy.” The New York spitta brings his usual wit and humor to the track with bars like “Tranquilo, And in my trunk, kilos / If they pull me over shit could get ugly like my son Cee-Lo.” With his raps onto the front of the already dope lineup, TUGE manages to upgrade your already dope “Mercy” listening experience. TUGE’s upcoming project Ignorant Elegance is on the way.
Big Sean performed at Florida International University last night and decided to include his portion of G.O.O.D. Music’s new single as part of his set at their 2012 Uproar concert. Watch the Detroit rapper deliver “Mercy” to the student body.

Welcome to Sample Sundays on MTD. I’ve been wanting to start a weekly sample-driven post on here for some time now but I guess it took some new G.O.O.D. Music to finally flip the switch. By now you should be well aware that Kanye dropped “Theraflu” and “Mercy” this week and shambled the Internets. The latter is produced by Yeezy’s recent signee, Lifted, and samples the patois chants of late Dancehall Legend. The sample derives from Fuzzy’s intro on the Super Beagle song “Dust A Sound Boy” produced by Winston Riley.
Since it’s probably difficult for those of us unfamiliar with Patois to understand Fuzzy’s chants, feel free to read a transcription below along with a stream of G.O.O.D. Music’s Mercy.
