After a heavy campaign which included an onslaught of freestyles, songs and videos, Jon Connor a.k.a. The People’s Rapper is less than 48 hours away from dropping his anticipated Season 2 mixtape. The Michigan mic ripper delivers this trailer featuring some major cosigns from Nas and Busta Rhymes and other highlights from Connor’s journey to this point in order to get fans ready for the release. Connor has certainly been holding his foot down on the competitions throat with his recent body of work so excpect no less when Season 2 arrives.  Get ready for the release tomorrow at 12:12pm EST.

Reek Da Villain can spit but a cypher with him and Busta already happened last year so BET missed an opportunity to showcase someone new here. At least 2 Chainz kicked some healthy bars.

Estelle lets loose a hip-hop remix to her single “Break My Heart” with some Swizz Beatz, Jadakiss and Busta Rhymes. The overseas songstress even gets in on the rhymes and kicks a few bars on Swizzy production. Her third album, All Of Me, is due out this fall.

If there’s one thing that Blink 182′s drummer can get it’s hella good features on his records. For this particular song off of his Give The Drummer Some LP, Travis Barker calls in some of the quickest spitting rappers in the game including Yelawolf, Busta Rhymes and of course Twista. Lil Jon also ad-libs this hyperactive festival of fast rhymes and wild drumming.

After talks of a deal with veteran Lefrak, Queens rapper N.O.R.E. had been circulating for some time, Busta Rhymes validated the rumors and officially announced that he had signed his NY rap brethren to his Conglomerate Records imprint. The artist who first broke into the game with his ‘”Superthug” track produced by The Neptunes is now working on a new solo album of the same name (S.U.P.E.R.T.H.U.G.). The first single, “Finito,” features Lil Wayne and Pharrel and once again makes use of The Neptunes on the boards. Read Busta’s official announcement about the signing below.
