If you recall, rapper Jim Jones fired some shots at Lil Wayne on Monday via Twitter in reference to his attire at this year’s VMAs. The Source caught up with the Dip Set capo to speak on his problem with Mr. Carter.

This past Monday, Jim Jones of the Diplomats caused a little bit of a stir after sending out a controversial tweet that many may have believed were directed at Lil’ Wayne. On August 29th, Jones tweeted “So these rappers and RnB singers started gang bangin’ and claiming blood after they’ve made millions? WTF , where they do that at?” Jones continued and made his seemingly vague tweet a little bit clearer when he stated “Real men don’t wear spandex, smh lol.”

In an interview with TheSource.com yesterday, Jim Jones elaborated a little bit more on his thoughts on that tweet and on twitter in general. “See that’s the funny thing about Twitter, man. Everybody always assumes something,” Jones said laughingly. “ I say what I want to say and always have. To me Twitter is also a form of entertainment and I know some people have to make a living off of writing and blogging about that shit, so I ain’t knocking them for that. But about that actual tweet, I didn’t directly aim that at anybody and anyone who knows me knows if I got something to say about somebody I’m going to say it. But if people feel a certain way I always say if that shoe fits, wear it, ya’ dig?”

As the one week sales estimates for Lil Wayne’s Tha Carter IV keep rising, Birdman took to Twitter to forecast even greater figures tha Billboards now 850K projections for the LP. In his usual crytic Twitter lingo Baby is calling it now, JR. Gon Sell. 1 mil. 7 day. *Birdman handrub*

According to Billboard, industry forecasters are projecting that Lil Wayne’s Tha Carter IV will sell between 700,000 and 850,000 units in its first week of sales which concludes on Sunday, September 4th. If Weezy’s latest meets predictions it would have the second best first week figures of the year. Tha Carter IV dropped digitally at midnight last night and hit stores today.

Dipset Capo Jim Jones was none-to-pleased at Lil Wayne’s wardrobe selection for his performance on last night’s VMAs on MTV and he took to Twitter moments ago to voice his opinion. Maybe blood isn’t thicker than water in the case of these two red flag reppin’ rappers. Since it doesn’t look like Wayne will get a response to his Jay-Z diss, maybe he’ll take advantage of Jimmy’s diss and capitalize on it during Tha Carter IV‘s album release week.
