Responding to all the chatter of a “Beef” between him and Jay-Z and he’s seemingly obvious jab at Sean carter on “It’s Good” which dropped yeasterday, Lil Wayne had the following response VIBE about to the uproar:

“I know there won’t be any repercussions behind what I did,” says a confident Wayne when asked if he had second thoughts about recording his acidic verse for ‘It ‘s Good.’ “I know for a fact music is about perception. You can’t do anything but perceive what you hear. I know that for a fact. So I can’t ever be upset about someone’s reaction.”

Wayne seems pretty confident in his response, but we’ll see if any after shocks are to follow the initial quake it the diss caused on Twitter yesterday.

Twitter and the Internets went into a frenzy earlier today when we heard Tha Carter IV track “It’s Good: featuring Drake and Jadakiss due to some bars from Lil Wayne that were clearly aimed at Hov. In the aftermath of the shots fired Jadakiss wanted to clear up the situation on his end and remove himself from any possible rap beef that may ensue.

The L.O.X. emcee took to Twitter and stated that if he had beef with anybody he would make it known by using their name. Kiss handled this mess quickly and efficiently which he probably learned to do from the last time he made enemies with someone for just being featured on a song i.e. Ja Rule’s “New York, New York” sparking some words on wax between Jada and 50 Cent.

Lil Wayne is also playing this down as just rhymes and boosting the hype for his new album which drops Monday.

“Me and my wit, given my wit, I would probably play off of it,” Wayne explained. “But I wouldn’t make it a competition, because actually, the subject that he’s talking about in that line, I can’t box with the god. I’d be the first one to tell you that, given my wit, and the type of person that I am, I’d capitalize and I’d play off of it. Yeah, I definitely would.”

Who knows if Jay-Z will even respond but some Wayne fans are now even more glued to C4 and just waiting for a possibly explosive rap war.

While we await Tha Carter IV‘s arrival on Monday (digital verson will drop immediately after the MTV Video Music Awards) we get a cut from the LP featuring Drake and Jada that’s sure to spark some controversy. Listen to Weezy’s bar just after the 2:50 mark for a shot that’s almost undeniabley fired at the elder member of The Throne, Jay-Z.

Weezy just dropped this visual for his pop aimed single “How To Love.” Personally not a fan of wayne going this rout but believe this song is already winning with imprortant audiences. The video premiered earlier tonight on MYV Jams without any notice. Tha Carter IV drops August 29th.

Lil Wayne and Cory Gunz took to Transitions Skate Park to practice his skills on a few ramps. Unfortunately, Wayne took a spill (not shown here) and had to receive nine stitches on his head. He did however tweet after the incident that he was going to be just fine. Apparently he’s taking this skateboarding thing pretty seriously.

MTV made an announcement this morning that Lil Wayne would be releasing his album Tha Carter IV digitally immediately following this year’s Video Music Awards which will be airing this Sunday. Read the statement in full:

New York, NY (August 22, 2011) – In a music industry first, Hip-Hop megastar and super mogul, Lil Wayne will release his highly-anticipated album, Tha Carter IV, in its entirety online via retail sites including Itunes, Amazon and more when the clock strikes midnight following the “2011 MTV Video Music Awards” this Sunday, August 28th. The physical CD will be available at all major retail stores on August 29th. Guess this digital release first thing is really taking off now. Still don’t understand why this couldn’t have become to logical and more lucrative thing to do sooner but better late than never.

Weezy performs “Drop the World”, “I’m Going In”, “Look At Me Now”, “6 Foot 7 Foot” and Tha Carter IV cut “Nightmares of the Bottom” on the Montreal stop of the I Am Still Music tour. The Young Money rapper gives a little speech about grinding before he gets into the tracks.

Damn, this officially makes the last 24 hours all R.E.D. Album everything. Here’s yet another joint from Game’s forthcoming album, this time featuring Lil Wayne on the hook and Tyler, The Creator produced by 1500 0r Nothin’. Definitely a strong verse from Tyler who even calls out Game on his own song for all that name dropping! You know you gotta fucks with that. Anyway this is another dope track that makes my expectations for The R.E.D. Album fairly positive after hearing a couple of lackluster releases. Listen below and download after the jump.

Sidenote: About what Game said about Lil B in the VladTV interview, yeah it wasn’t an opinion about wack rappers, he really doesn’t like Lil B. Just play this song and you’ll see what I mean.
