After a heavy campaign which included an onslaught of freestyles, songs and videos, Jon Connor a.k.a. The People’s Rapper is less than 48 hours away from dropping his anticipated Season 2 mixtape. The Michigan mic ripper delivers this trailer featuring some major cosigns from Nas and Busta Rhymes and other highlights from Connor’s journey to this point in order to get fans ready for the release. Connor has certainly been holding his foot down on the competitions throat with his recent body of work so excpect no less when Season 2 arrives.  Get ready for the release tomorrow at 12:12pm EST.

Nas recently appeared at the Art Basel Miami 2011, performing his past single, “Made You Look,” and also selling his first-ever painting for 14k.

During Nas’s set at Rock The Bells in NY last night he performed the classic track that introduced him to the world “Live At The BBQ.” The songs other featured artists Akinyele, Large Professor and Joe Fatal. Nothing short of classic.

Nas brought out the iconic Ms. Lauryn Hill at Rock The Bells in San Bernadino, CA to perform their It Was Written classic collab “If I Ruled The World.” Definitely dope for the audience to witness a live show like this.
