In accordance with this week’s celebration of his 21st birthday, Soulja Boy releases an EP appropriately titled 21 for those of us who weren’t there to mark the occasion with him. Judging by the song tites all the tracks should make you feel extra swagged out and make you money around if you have it. If you don’t have a stack then just use monopoly money and pretend.

$55 million private jet or not Soulja Boy took to Miami’s Club Play to celebrate the big 2-1. Gunplay of Triple C’s was also on hand kicking of his own B-Day festivities. Guests of the party included Sean Kingston, Trina, Trae The Truth, Just Blaze, Gunplay, Torch and Pinky. I need a B-Day like this…so who wants to ante up?

Here’s some new music from Soulja Boy featuring Barbie and the vocals of Bobby Valentino called “I Love You”. No word from Soulja if this is a cut off an upcoming project or just a random throwaway. In a related story, today a coworker of mine argued that Lil B is a better rapper then Soulja Boy….this record really doesn’t do much to help Soulja’s case in my opinion.

The word, popularized by the ’92 cult classic flick Juice, which starred a young Tupac Shakur and Omar Epps, became a part of hip-hop lexicon as another word for respect. Yesterday (Apr.20) Soulja Boy released a free mixtape to serve as the soundtrack for his version of Juice. VIBE caught up with SB just a few hours before the tape’s release to get the skinny on the new music and movie, his recent conversations with Birdman, Lil B’s controversial album title and his desire to pursue acting.—Mikey Fresh
