Someoneeeeeee please calllllll 911 (Wyclef Voice) No really call 911. Reports came in at about 12:00am March 20 2011, Haiti’s election day that Wyclef Jean had been shot and was at a hospital seeking treatment.

Earlier reports claimed that Jean was passing through Delmas at 11:00pm in Port-au-Prince when gunfire was showered into the car. Clef was in the car with Busta Rhymes, Jimmy Rosemond and other members of his entourage. No other passengers in the vehicle were injured.

Check as Rolling Stone sits with Wyclef Jean as they discuss the 1 year anniversary of the Haitian earthquake that recorded over 250,000 causalities. Our prayers still go out to all that lost loved ones on that tragic day.

After Wyclef did a freestyle a couple of nights ago at a concert, actor Sean Penn responds to the diss. This is what Mr. Penn had to say about the matter:

“Mr. Jean is clearly unfamiliar with the physical demands put upon volunteers in Haiti. As aid workers there, the notion of depleting the body’s immune system thru the use of illicit drugs is ludicrous. More specifically, J/P Haitian Relief Organization (a.k.a. JPHRO) has a ZERO tolerance policy for any and all illegal drugs. As the leader of this organization, Sean Penn has not only set this policy, but adheres to it. That Mr. Jean would make such a false accusation is reckless and saddening, but not surprising.”–MTV

All this over Haiti? They both might as well team up and do something instead of running their mouths.

Looks like Wyclef will have to find other avenues to help his beloved country Haiti, for he has been denied a bid for presidency. Acourding to the Haitian constitution, you have to live in the country five years prior to running for president. Wyclef is still listed as a resident in Brooklyn. Well, Wyclef now you know…next time.

Wycelf takes CNN on a ride through Haiti for his presidential campaign and the people express their feelings on the matter. It seem like nothing but positive feedback from the country who has yet to recover from the earthquake earlier this year.
